Over the years, there have been increasing trend of shipping services at Muara Port. The new rotations operated by Shandong International Transportation Corporation, SITC, and the recently established Warisan Shipping Line, WSL, have further increased shipping activities at the Port. The Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy stated this while officiating SITC and WSL Maiden Call: Advancing Muara Port as a Regional Transshipment Hub. According to Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, alongside these new services, the existing Qinzhou–Muara Line continues to play a pivotal role in positioning Muara Port as a hub within the BIMP-EAGA region, and beyond. Current transshipment routes through Muara include connections to Samalaju, Bintulu, and Lahad Datu.

As part of its maiden call, SITC introduced an extensive import service network that includes both direct and transshipment connections across major markets. While, WSL's maiden call featured the launch of the JIFA Bohai Coastal Feeder Service. Also present was Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. The event was held at the Cruise Ship Centre.
